Facilities Rental

Looking for an ideal venue to host your special event? Look no further than Cloverdale United Church!

Our historic building offers a variety of room sizes that can accommodate any need, whether it's a musical performance, community meeting, class, support group, family reunion, or other type of event.

Rental Rates                      

  • Sanctuary $50/hr
  • Upper Hall $30/hr
  • Lower Hall $30/hr
  • Lounge $30/hr
  • Council Room $30/hr
  • Kitchen $30/hr

Things to note:

  • Minimum rental for any space (including the sanctuary) = 2 hours
  • Rentals are made in one-hour increments only (i.e., if a renter needs a space for 2.5 hours, a 3-hour rental must be booked)
  • All-day rentals are capped at the rate for 8 hours (i.e., $240/day for each non-sanctuary space and $400/day for the sanctuary)
  • Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises at all times.


  • Use of the audio-visual live-streaming equipment in the sanctuary is $100 per use ($50 of which is paid as an honorarium to a tech operator from the church)

Special Rates:

  • Support Groups (AA, NA, other 12-step or recovery-type groups): $15/week

Room capacities:

  • Sanctuary: ca. 200 (seating in the main floor pews for ca. 140; additional seating capacity in the balcony and chancel/choir-loft areas)
  • Upper Hall (27’ x 45’): ca. 100-120 people (# chairs – ca. 100)
  • Lower Hall: ca. 80 for sit-down meals (6 round tables /12 x 5 / 9 x 4)
