It’s Apple Pie Time!!!
Fall is almost here and so is apple pie season. 2025 was a very successful year, we made 550 pies and had a profit of $6,632
As always, it is a wonderful time for laughs and fellowship and we look forward to peeling, rolling and filling shells with you all again this year.
Lori Presunka and Laurel Zulke are co co-ordinators again this year, along with the help of an awesome team. All helpers are welcome – all ages, genders, experienced or not.
FREEZER – we are looking for a small (3-6 cu.ft.) freezer to borrow for pie season – please let us know if you have one available.
Anyone travelling to the Okanagan mid September thru October a box or boxes of apples would be appreciated or reach out to any contacts you may have for free or inexpensive apples – No Macs or Red Delicious please.
We will also be looking for donations of flour, sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. If your unable to donate supplies or your time/talent – cash donations are always welcome to assist in purchasing what doesn’t get donated.
The pie bees will happen Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9-12 ish , starting Sept 28. Laurel will have the volunteer lists available mid September.
