You can sign up for a shift to help with set up, food prep, serve food and/or clean up, or you could make a goody for dessert.

Set up will begin at 2 pm, dinner is served at 4:30 pm, followed by clean up and finished by 6:30 pm. We need people for a variety of jobs.

We also are asking for Donations to cover the cost of hosting the meal.  Our goal is to raise $350. Please mark your extra donation ‘HUB Community Dinner’.

The first Community Dinner hosted by Cloverdale United was in September of 2012.  That one and the ones following were made possible by all of the amazing volunteers.  This is a chance for people of all ages to help in building a healthy community. With your help, we can reach out in love to our community.

* Oak Avenue Neighborhood Hub Society is a non-profit organization providing a range of services for people in our community.  Each month, a team of volunteers from various Surrey Church communities, get together to organize, cook and serve a delicious, full dinner to hungry people of all ages from the community.  The dinner is held on the second Saturday of each month, and average attendance at these meals range from 100-150 people, including singles, families, young and old - www.oanh.ca
