“Yearning to Stay with You

John 10:1-11

Our Sacred Texts offer many glimpses of the risen Christ, and during the Easter we continue to hear how He reveals who He is for His people. In John 10, Jesus speaks with the clarity of a shepherd calling out across a hillside. He names Himself the gate and the good shepherd-the One who knows His sheep, calls them by name, and places His own life between them and danger.

In a world filled with confusing voices and weary hearts, the risen Christ continues to walk beside His flock, guiding us back to the place of safety and belonging. He calls us to return-not in fear, but in trust-to the Shepherd who knows us, protects us, and leads us into life.
