Jeremiah 31:27-34
Our journey with the prophet Jeremiah is reaching its conclusion this weekend, as we visit to a section known as the “book of Consolation”. In the passage we’ll hear, Jeremiah now addresses the people after they have suffered the indignity of being conquered and hauled away to exile. In that context, Jeremiah announces a new covenant, not written on stone but inscribed on human hearts, revealing God’s promise of restoration, forgiveness, and renewed relationship with His people.
